Wishing Good Luck to Dr Mallika Sarabhai

Dr Mallika Sarabhai, one of the India's best known dancers and a social activist is contesting against Shri L.K.Advani from the Gandhinagar loksabha constituency as an independent candidate. She comes with a promise of change towards citizen centered democracy. She made a mark on the campaigning by inviting her opponent for a debate on set of questions related to local issues. Our team wishes her good luck.

  1. Please specify how much time do Ms. Sarabhai devote in her own profession of classical dance nowadays, at least how much media report does she get as a dance performer anywhere? Her photo comes in some ad, in Page 3 parties. She will devote time to national development ? Conducting debate in English is a separate issue, how many of Indian masses understand such high-flown English debates?

  2. I don't understand your point. What to do with the time she devotes in her own profession? How much time did the opposition leader spend in parliamentary discussions in the outgoing LS? Most of the time, LS sittings were hijacked by his own slogan shouting MPs. I can't say anything about the use of debates but she has every right to stand for an election and raise the local issues as part of the campaign to make the sitting MP accountable. Did she speak of national development? I am not sure. But who can stop her?
